Mike’s father Philip Tindall and Lucas Philip’s great-grandfather Prince Philip inspired the name. He is the last person listed on the website of the Royal Family’s line of succession and the tenth great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth.
Lucas lacks a title because his mother Zara’s parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, decided not to give her one when she was born in 1981. Zara’s children follow the British line of succession but do not have titles.

On March 21, 2021, Lucas Philip Tindall was conceived. On the podcast The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby, Mike announced the news.

On March 21, 2023, Lucas turned two. The third child of the couple is Lucas. On January 17, 2014, they welcomed Mia Grace Tindall, and on June 18, 2018, they welcomed Lena Elizabeth Tindall.
