Jeremy Clarkson has responded to reports that he and girlfriend Lisa Hogan have split and that he has been fired from ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
Clarkson made headlines in December 2022 after writing in his Sun column that he despised the Duchess of Sussex “on a cellular level,” not like he despised Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. Following comments he made about Markle in response to the Netflix Harry and Meghan documentary, the former Top Gear presenter faced backlash from politicians, celebrities, and members of the public.
The Sun issued an apology for the piece, which went down in history as the most complained-about story in the history of the Independent Press Standards Organisation. While Clarkson apologised on Instagram a month later on January 16, saying he was “really sorry” and that he had sent Prince Harry and Markle an email apologising for the column on Christmas morning.
Following the controversial piece, it was reported that he had been dropped from Amazon Prime and fired from ITV due to his comments, but the channel clarified the situation in a statement. So, who is Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend, and are they still together? Everything you need to know is right here.
Who is Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend?
Has he split from Lisa Hogan?
So many kind messages about today’s reports. But relax. Lisa and I have not split up and I have not been sacked as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Following an article in Variety in which ITV chief executive Carolyn McCall stated that following their latest contracted season, they would “have no future commitments,” speculation erupted that Clarkson had been fired as host of ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. “We have a contract,” McCall said. We’re committed to this [season], so we’ll do it. Then there are no future commitments. And we haven’t said anything about it.”
Clarkson shared that he had “not been sacked as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” in a post on Twitter. Sky News also reported an updated statement from ITV, which stated, “As we have stated for several weeks, ITV is contractually committed to a further series of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? (which has now been recorded). There are currently no additional commissioning commitments, as is typical with such shows where we make commissioning decisions on a series-by-series basis. For the sake of clarity, neither Who Wants to Be a Millionaire nor Jeremy Clarkson have been cancelled.”
