
LILY MUNI is an active traveler with a celebrity F1 boyfriend, but she is also a pro golfer on the rise.
Lily, who was born in China, was introduced to golf by her father when she was five years old.
Lily’s family eventually relocated to Vancouver, Canada, before settling in San Diego, California, where she polished her talents.
Lily, 24, competed in junior golf competitions in San Diego and Southern California, as well as US Kids’ Golf and American Junior Golf Association contests.
She spent a year at the University of Southern California before going pro in December 2017 after success on the amateur circuit.
Lily’s victory at the 2015 Polo Junior Classic earned her four starts on the LPGA Tour, where she made the cut at the 2015 US Women’s Cup.
Lily also claimed wins at the 2017 Minnesota Invitional, 2018 Prasco Charity Championship and 2019 Q-Series to qualify for the LPGA Tour for 2020.
In 2019, she began dating F1 driver Alex Albon, and sponsorship deals with Nike and the Chinese social media site WeChat have helped to boost her celebrity.
Lily has also been able to support a jet-set lifestyle, frequently accompanying Albon to races around the world.
The pair walked around the paddock at last week’s Singapore Grand Prix, where Albon finished 11th for Williams.
Lily and Albon met on social media after she watched the Netflix docuseries “Drive to Survive” about Formula One.
The golfer is quite active on social media, with 669,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares details about her life and photographs photos of herself on the course.
Lily also uploaded photographs from her trip to Mallorca with Albon, where the couple was able to relax during the F1 season break.
