He made the political decision to get involved and joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional. After a few years of affiliation with the party, he made the decision to leave and join MQM.

In the 2013 General Elections, he represented PS-111 Const. in the provincial assembly race on the MQM party ticket, and he received the most votes. He was granted the party’s significant positions.
After disclosing crucial information to the media about the party, he was ordered to be suspended for six months. All of the MQM’s employees demanded this suspension and stated that they would leave the party if he did not step down.
In April 2018, he quit the party forever and joined Pak Sarzameen Party.
