Following her breakup with model boyfriend Andrew Darnell, DailyMail.com can reveal that Madonna has a hot new boy toy.
According to insiders, the 64-year-old Queen of Pop is currently dating boxer Josh Popper, 29, who has been instructing her kids at the Bredwinners gym in New York City.
In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram earlier this month, the singer could be seen snuggling up to her opponent.
‘In a male driven culture, there are always exceptions,’ she wrote in the Instagram story post, which followed a photo of the Material Girl embracing a punching bag captioned: ‘Hard to ignore the reality… that most women get demolished.’
The images were released only a few days after Madonna received flak for her almost unrecognizably bizarre performance at the Grammy Awards.
The singer of the song “Like a Prayer” is currently also grieving the loss of her brother Anthony Ciccone, who passed away on Sunday and coincided with her most recent breakup with Darnell.
A second image of Popper holding the pop star in his arms as three of his friends stand to either side of them as they pose in front of a boxing ring was also posted on his personal account.
However, sources tell DailyMail.com that Madonna and Popper have been having romantic relationships and that this public display of affection wasn’t just for show.
Before opening Bredwinners in Manhattan’s Flatiron District nearly three years ago, the comparatively unknown Jersey southpaw sold life insurance.
One source claims that Popper, a well-known athlete who grew up in Southern New Jersey’s Egg Harbor Township, has been instructing one of Madge’s six children in boxing.
Madonna and Popper haven’t discussed their relationship in public; instead, they’ve only shared social media images of themselves working out together.
Popper declined to confirm or deny dating the pop icon who is 36 years older than him when contacted by DailyMail.com.
When he shared the images of himself and his new partner at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, New York, on February 12, he also played coy on Instagram.
