THE DEATH OF WWE legend Bushwhacker Butch has broken many fans’ emotions all over the globe.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Miller, a rock of support for the wrestling Hall of Famer who stuck by him throughout his decades of fame.
Who is Helen Miller?
Helen Miller is the late Robert Miller’s widow.
Robert, better known as WWE’s Bushwhacker Butch, was a passionate New Zealand wrestler who started his battling career in 1964.
He moved on to have a successful career in the sport.
There is little information available about Helen, who stayed out of the spotlight, but she had a devoted relationship with the athlete and had two children with him.
Helen and Butch were thought to have been married for several decades.
Until 2016, the pair resided in Paraparaumu Beach, New Zealand.
The couple then relocated to Otaki Beach, a tiny community in Wellington, New Zealand’s north island.
Sharon and Kirsten were the couple’s two children during their marriage.
Furthermore, their girls married and had children of their own, making them happy grandparents.
On April 2, 2023, the retired professional wrestler perished.
Butch was said to have had health problems that began in 2002, when he was first brought to the hospital.
From then on, the star was thought to be in and out of the critical care unit for unknown causes.
He perished at the age of 78 in a facility in Los Angeles, California.
His long-term wrestling partner, Bushwhacker Luke, paid an emotional tribute following the tragic news.
He said: “Late last night, I lost my friend, my brother and tag team partner of over 50 years with the passing of Bob ‘Butch’ Miller.
“But he was also an all-round good guy and a great friend… if you were to read the story of my life it would say I am only child but it would be wrong.
“I had a brother and his name was Bob Miller.
“I love you, Bob. Until I see you again, WOOOOAH YEAAAHHHH.”
