Freddie Foreman, a convicted mobster who was born on March 5th, 1932, was sometimes referred to as the Godfather of London, where he resided.

Foreman, who was up in squalor in Battersea, London, started selling stolen things when he was just twenty years old.

After being on the run since the robbery in 1983, he was apprehended by Spanish police in the Costa del Sol and hauled back to Britain.
