Later, when discussing the incident with CNN, she acknowledged feeling the bug “flutter” at the back of her throat and said it was stuck.
She continued introducing the segment she was presenting despite the circumstances.
She went into greater detail about the events in a different interview with ET Canada.

She had noticed the fly in the studio before she started to speak, but she was merely concerned that it would block the camera lens.
She had to hastily hand the microphone over to the reporter since the fly suddenly got stuck in her mouth.
When the video became viral, she remarked that she was delighted to have people laugh, even though it was at her expense.
She highlighted Ontario Premier Doug Ford in her post, who earlier this month admitted to swallowing a bee live on air.
