Tommy Smith, the 29-year-old father of 9-year-old YouTube star Everleigh Rose, passed away. On September 15, her mother Savannah LaBrant posted the breaking news to her Instagram page without disclosing the reason for his passing. He passed away on Friday, September 9, according to his girlfriend Courtney Santaella.
Savannah LaBrant’s ex-boyfriend and Everleigh’s biological father was Tommy Smith. Savannah and Cole dated intermittently from 2012 to 2016 until Savannah wed Cole, the father of her three younger children. The LaBrant Fam, originally known as Cole & Sav, is a family-oriented YouTube channel hosted by Cole LaBrant and Savannah Rose LaBrant in California.

Our hearts are tremendously heavy as we absorb the loss of Everleigh’s dad, Tommy, wrote Savannah, a YouTube star who also tweeted a lovely picture of Everleigh with her father, Smith. He adored Everleigh so much. We respectfully request privacy as we work through this trying time so that Ev’s family can continue to care for her, pray for her, and grieve alongside her. We are very grateful for your prayers for Everleigh.
Smith’s girlfriend Courtney Santaella also confirmed his untimely demise on Instagram on September 13. “9/9/22 you were taken abruptly to be with Jesus,” she wrote. As I write this, my heart is in a million pieces. Numb and speechless, all I can say is that I wish this was a terrible nightmare. I can say with certainty that without you, I would not be the person I am today. She added, “You taught me so much and I am forever thankful that you came into my life and that we were able to share so many great moments together,” along with a series of their photographs in a post thanking him for the memories. I’ll treasure those and hold them close.
When it comes to their relationship when they were both still teenagers, Savannah has been open. At the age of 19, Everleigh was accepted. Nevertheless, because their relationship did not last, she reared her kid on her own over time. In a 2018 video posted to The LaBrant Family channel, she also said that her connection with Smith was “extremely toxic.” After agreeing to quit their personal connection, the two decided to successfully co-parent Everleigh. Savannah and Cole wed in July 2017 after getting together in June 2016.
Everleigh Rose, a little dancer who has over 4.9 million followers on Instagram, is the daughter of Savannah and Smith. She is also well-known for being a young fashionista. Concern was shared on Twitter by admirers after they learned of her father’s unexpected demise. Someone posted, “The news that Eveleigh’s biological father passed away really made me feel terrible for the young girl. Reality was her only refuge. She’s doing fine, I hope, right now.” Added one more, “EVERLEIGH’S DAD DIED?! I don’t care about the Labrant parents, but I feel so awfully bad for her.”
