Since its start, Below Deck Mediterranean’s seventh season has had several cast and crew changes. Elena Dubaich, who will join the cast in place of Kyle Viljoen, will be introduced in next week’s episode.
Kyle had an ankle injury in episode 17 after falling down some steps, as viewers are fully aware. While the interior team worked around the clock to serve the charter guests, he was observed resting in bed the whole episode. Natasha Webb, the chief stew, had to decide whether to replace her best friend Kyle for the final charter due to the workload since the team needed someone to take over his responsibilities.
Fortunately, Captain Sandy Yawn didn’t have to wait very long to get a replacement. Although the captain made a suggestion that Kyle might come back, episode 17 focused on his departure. In the meantime, Elena Dubaich will appear as the second stew in Below Deck Mediterranean season 7 episode 18.
Who is Elena Dubaich?
Elena was born and raised in Slovenia, where she started her work as a translator after receiving a bachelor’s degree in both English and Russian. She lived throughout the Balkan region as a child. Because of this, she began learning multiple languages at a young age and became passionate about language study, which she still finds to be her favourite pastime. She started looking for a job that would be focused on travelling the world because she had an adventurous outlook. She discovered her true purpose while attending massage school, and she went on to learn more about other therapies in London, Stockholm, and Bangkok. She developed her abilities while working as a yoga and meditation instructor on upscale, exclusive cruise lines, eventually rising to the position of spa manager. She changed her employment during the epidemic, working as a spa stewardess on charter yachts and luxury motor yachts. Elena is eager to start her own massage school and teach her expertise to students all across the world.
