Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer endured a similar horrible destiny that one inmate claimed was predetermined by God after receiving a prison sentence for the murder of more than a dozen men and boys.
Around the same time that Dahmer arrived in Wisconsin’s Columbia Correctional Institution in 1992, 25-year-old Christopher Scarver was also admitted.
After executing 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer was found guilty of 15 homicides.
Scarver highlighted his dislike for Dahmer in a 2015 interview with the New York Post, describing how the insane man tormented other prisoners by sculpting food into body parts and using ketchup as blood.
“He would put them in places where people would be,” Scarver said.
‘He crossed the line with some people — prisoners, prison staff. Some people who are in prison are repentant — but he was not one of them.”
According to Scarver, who was serving a life sentence for the murder of his former employer two years prior, Dahmer engaged in so many conversations with other prisoners that he required constant supervision by one guard.
He said he had never spoken to him while they were both in prison, but Scarver said that changed on November 28, 1994.
Scarver, Dahmer, and another prisoner named Jesse Anderson who was cleaning restrooms that morning were left alone.
While Scarver stated he couldn’t identify who prodded him in the back, he turned around to find Dahmer and Anderson “laughing under their breath.”
“I looked right into their eyes, and I couldn’t tell which had done it,” he told The Post.
Soon after, according to the report, Scarver and Dahmer relocated to “a staff locker room,” when Scarver brought a metal bar from the weight room.
There, Scarver addressed Dahmer about the 17 killings and expressed his “fierce disdain.”
“He started looking for the door pretty quick,” Scarver said in the 2015 interview.
“I blocked him.”
The metal bar was then used to strike Dahmer twice in the head. Shortly later, he passed away from his injuries in the hospital.
Scarver then entered a locker room where Anderson was working shortly after attacking Dahmer.
“He stopped for a second and looked around,” Scarver revealed.
“He was looking to see if any officials were there. There were none. Pretty much the same thing [happened] – got his head put out.”

Scarver admitted to the killings at the time and claimed that God had instructed him to do so.
In an interview with The Post, he acknowledged that the occurrence was not an accident and made a suggestion that prison guards might have placed him and Dahmer together on purpose.
“They had something to do with what took place. Yes,” he said.
After confessing to the murders, Scarver was handed two additional life sentences.
Scarver, now 53, remains in behind bars following the 1994 murders.
In April 2015, the convicted murderer released a novel from prison titled, “God Seed: Poetry of Christopher J. Scarver.” The Amazon description describes the book as a “poetic vision of the world as seen through prison walls.”
The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, a new Netflix limited series about the murderer’s heinous atrocities, has brought his participation in Dahmer’s death back into the public eye.
The 10-episode series is hosted by American Horror Story’s Evan Peters as Dahmer and also features Molly Ringwald, Richard Jenkins, Niecy Nash, and former teen idol Molly Ringwald.
