Police are searching for the individual who shot and killed two people in Dallas on Thursday afternoon, including local rapper BFG Strapp.
In South Dallas, a fatal shooting took place near Malcolm X Boulevard on Casey Street.
Cory Lucien, a 26-year-old victim, passed away there. The other, Antywon Dillard, 22, passed away in a hospital.
BFG Straap was the rap alias Dillard utilised. He was best known for the songs “GANG MEMBER,” “Everyday 420,” and “I’m Good.”
When Dallas police responded to reports of gunfire near South Malcolm X Boulevard, they discovered Cory Medina Lucien, age 26, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
On the spot, Lucien was pronounced dead.
Dillard, who also performs under the stage name BFG Straap, was taken to the hospital by himself before the police arrived, they subsequently discovered.
The rapper eventually passed away from his wounds at the hospital.
No one has been arrested, and Dallas PD has not yet provided any other details about the shooting.
In the Dallas region, BFG Straap was best known for his singles GANG MEMBER, E,veryday 420, I’m Good, and Outta Love.
The 22-year-old drill rapper is the most recent victim in recent weeks.
Following the September 12 shooting death of 30-year-old rapper PnB Rock in Los Angeles, BFG Straap passed away a few days later.
