Who is Strongman Mitchell Hooper?

Mitchell Hooper is a Canadian strongman who was born on September 29, 1995, in Midhurst.

Hooper studied human kinetics at the University of Guelph before earning a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology at the University of Sydney.

Aside from being a strongman, Hooper is a kinesiologist who runs the Longevity Nexum kinesiology clinic in Barrie, Canada.

Hooper rose to prominence after competing in the 2022 World’s Strongest Man competition, where he finished eighth overall but first in his qualifying category.

A year later, in 2023, Hooper won this year’s competition, defeating the reigning two-time winner, Tom Stoltman.

The World’s Strongest Man Competition will air on CBS at 1pm on May 28, 2023.

Who is Mitchell Hooper’s wife Ashley Harrison?

Aside from Mitchell’s successful career, Hooper has a wife named Ashley Harrison who has always been there for him.

Ashley Harrison is an Ontario veterinarian from Uxbridge.

Harrison’s veterinary specialisation is in small animals.

Harrison also attended the University of Guelph in 2015 and later earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College.

The Canadian veterinarian frequently expresses her love for animals on social media, and she even has an Instagram page for her own dogs, Murphy and Lacy.

How long have Ashley and Mitchell been together?

According to the happy couple, they met in 2019 on the dating app Tinder.

Since dating, the couple has planned to marry in 2022. Ashley celebrated their five-year anniversary on Instagram.

“Happy Anniversary, Peanut,” she wrote. “Five years down, many more to go.”

The married couple celebrated their engagement at The Blue Room Bondi in Sydney, Australia.
