At least on the surface, Anwar Hadid, the younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid, has ended his single life. Hadid was captured in New York City on Thursday strolling while holding hands with model Sophia Piccirilli. Even though this is just their first time being seen together and neither of them has publicly admitted they are dating, the sighting quickly generated rumors that the two are now dating.
Naturally, a lot of people are now curious about this new mystery female. Piccirilli is a new fashion model that Ford Models represents. She hasn’t yet been the face of a significant fashion campaign, according to her Instagram, but she would like to be a model for editorial fashion photography. Piccirilli owns and operates her own line of eco-friendly apparel called Picci Label.
Several months ago, Piccirilli joined the Hadids in celebrating her boyfriend’s birthday in their Pennsylvania home, according to an unnamed source who talked to Page Six.
Following the end of his relationship with music diva Dua Lipa, this is most likely Hadid’s first relationship. They started dating in 2019, and their relationship ended in 2021. Since their split, Lipa has now formally relocated.
Many worried about how Hadid was handling the news of Lipa with a new beau after Hadid posted a concerning cryptic Instagram story message, in which he wrote “Trying to not to find and kill him,” only two days after Lipa and Gavras’ Cannes debut. A day later he followed up with “Crazy how the internet will just make whole articles about sh*t they don’t know about!!,” in defense of the backlash he received.
Now with both Lipa and Hadid off the market, the former couple can move forward in their own respective relationships.
