Andrea Martinez, a former basketball player, was named Miss Universe Spain for 2020 during a ceremony held in Los Olivos Beach, Tenerife. Despite the fact that Martinez was presented with the medal by Sofia del Prado, Miss Universe Spain 2017 and a former basketball player, the 27-year-old replaces Natalie Ortega, who took home the honour the previous year.

She shared the podium with Andrea de las Heras from Madrid and Ainhoa Portillo from Malaga. “I still don’t believe that this has happened. I am Miss Universe Spain,” Andrea Martínez wrote on social media.

Basketball player Andrea Martnez distinguished herself at the Leones high school, was chosen by the Castilla y Leon squad, competed in youth competitions all around Spain, and was pre-selected for the Spanish U15 basketball team.
The 2020 Miss Universe Spain, Andrea Martinez, is engaged to Chelsea star Kepa Arrizabalaga, who recently made the announcement.
The couple announced their relationship to the public in January after dating for a while. And it now appears that they will soon become legally married.
Andrea, 30, won Miss Universe Spain in 2020 and participated in the Las Vegas edition of Miss Universe. She was a basketball prodigy before becoming a model.
Former Chelsea goalkeeper and current technical director Petr Cech was one among the well-wishers and simply used the Spanish word for congratulations, “Enhorabuen.”
Although the couple’s relationship was announced in January, it is believed that they had been dating for some time before going public.
While Kepa has spent the majority of his time with the Blues on the bench, the two have posted several adorably sentimental posts on their social media accounts over the past eight months.
There were rumours that the goalkeeper might be leaving since Lazio and Napoli were interested in him.
Thomas Tuchel, however, made sure that the Spaniard would not depart because there was no apparent replacement.
This summer, the Blues went all-out in the transfer market, spending nearly £300 million as new owner Todd Boehly showed off his financial prowess.
Raheem Sterling, Wesley Fofana, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are a few newcomers.
Additionally, there were a few prominent departures, including Marcos Alonso, Timo Werner, and Romelu Lukaku. Along with other unimportant players, Ross Barkley, Kenedy, and Billy Gilmour were permitted to leave.
