On New Year’s Day early in the morning, ANA Walshe was last seen at her house in Cohasset, Massachusetts.
She was scheduled to use a ride-sharing service to get to Boston Logan Airport before taking a flight to Washington, DC, for work, but she never boarded the aircraft.
Who is Ana Walshe?
The wife and mother of three boys, Ana Walshe, is 39 years old.
She lives outside Boston, Massachusetts, with her family, but they also have a home in Washington, DC, where Ana frequently stays for work.
According to Ana’s LinkedIn profile, Tishman Speyer, a global boutique real estate company, employs her as the regional general manager for the Washington, DC, and Baltimore regions.
She had previously worked for Boston-based The Mutlu Group.
On January 4, Ana’s husband, Brian Walshe, filed a missing persons report after allegedly being unable to get in touch with her.
He reported Ana missing several days after she had left the house since he said it was typical for his wife to work long hours without checking in.
She allegedly told him that she had a job issue and had to change her flight to January 1.
Police say they believe she intended to alter her travel once she arrived at the airport despite the fact that her next scheduled trip wasn’t until January 3.
Ana hasn’t used her debit or credit cards since the first of the year, and her phone hasn’t been on either.
Despite the fact that police claim it took the airlines longer than expected to confirm this because of the chaos of cancelled flights this week, she did not board an aircraft on January 1 and missed her flight on January 3.
Additionally, it is unknown if Ana ever entered a ridesharing.
Since she made the same trip every week, according to the police, there is a possibility that she and the same drivers had a “offline” arrangement.
According to what the police have said so far, they are handling the situation like a missing person’s investigation and have no reason to suspect any illicit activity.
According to reports, Cohasset police have searched Ana’s home in Massachusetts using K9 units.
They have very little information, but they have also been collaborating with Washington, DC, officials in an effort to locate the mother of three.
Detectives in Washington, DC, said Ana had not been seen at her home there and that her car, which she uses to travel to work in DC, had not moved.
The former family home of Ana, which she and her husband had moved out of a few months prior, caught fire on Friday, January 6.
If there was a connection between Ana’s case and the fire at the family’s previous home, it is currently being looked into by police.
On January 6, they informed the media in a briefing that they will return to search Ana and Brian Walshe’s present residence on either Friday or Saturday.
Ana is about 115 lbs. and 5’2″ tall.
She has brown eyes and olive skin, and her brown hair was last seen on her.
She has an Eastern European accent when she speaks.
