In connection with the deaths of four University of Idaho college students, BRYAN Kohberger is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary.
The criminology PhD student is scheduled to stand trial later this year, and Americans are curious about his family.
Who is Amanda Kohberger? Bryan Kohberger’s sister
The murders of four University of Idaho college students appeared to be straight out of a horror film, so many people were surprised to learn that Bryan Kohberger’s sister, Amanda, starred in a 2011 film with a similar premise.
While little is known about his sister’s personal life, she was an aspiring actress who appeared in the 2011 film Two Days Back, which follows a group of students who are “viciously stabbed to death with knives and other weapons,” according to TMZ.
No one thought anything of the film at the time, but now that Bryan is being investigated for similar crimes, some are wondering if the film played a role.
“You’re f***ing kidding me, her brother is that guy? Goddamn, man, holy cow,” the film’s director, Kevin boon, said during an interview with the New York Post.
While Bryan may have felt “no emotion” and “little remorse” as a teenager, his sister has since been described as a “lovely woman,” according to The New York Times.
“I remember her well. I directed the movie, wrote the movie, I cast her,” Boon told The Post.
“She is a lovely woman, who was very nice. I liked her a lot.”
He added that she was “easy to work with” and “did a great job acting.”
“There was nothing weird about her,” Boon continued. “I cannot believe that’s her brother.”
Does Bryan Kohberger have other siblings?
Bryan Kohberger was born in 1994 in Pennsylvania to Michael and Maryann Kohberger. He is their only son and their youngest child.
Michael and Maryann are also the parents of Amanda and Bryan’s other sister, Melissa, a New Jersey-based mental health therapist.
Melissa, like Amanda, prefers to avoid the spotlight and social media.
