The World Economic Forum has announced the induction of the class of 2023 Young Global Leaders.
Members of this year’s cohort come from a variety of backgrounds, including political leaders, innovative entrepreneurs, and passionate activists.
Ali Akhai, the chairman of Martin Dow Group, has also been named one of the Young Global Leaders for 2023. In the year 2023, Akhai is Pakistan’s youngest YGL.
Every year, a remarkable group of young exceptional leaders with the tenacity, foresight, and track record to better the world are chosen to join the YGL community.
“I am elated to become part of the YGL community,” Akhai said of his accomplishment. I hope to use this platform to serve humanity and promote a more positive image of Pakistan among the international community.”

Their rapidly growing membership of over 1,400 members and alumni from 120 countries includes civic and business innovators, entrepreneurs, technology pioneers, educators, activists, artists, journalists, and others.
