ALEJANDRA Silva surprised everyone when she announced her relationship with Richard Gere despite their 33-year age difference.
The couple appears to be inseparable since the start of their whirlwind romance.
Who is Alejandra Silva?
Alejandra, 37, is a publicist and activist from Spain. She was born in Madrid in February 1983.
She did, however, attend school in Dorset and even completed her A-levels there.
Alejandra, on the other hand, returned to her native Spain to study advertising and marketing.
Alejandra previously married Govind Friedland, with whom she has a five-year-old son, Albert.
She is a passionate human rights activist, and in 2007, she co-founded the Beautiful Life Fund with supermodel Karolina Kurkova.
Then, in 2010, she took part in the Real Madrid Football Club Foundation African Initiative Project, where she organised soccer leagues to help integrate underprivileged children into their communities and promote sports among African families.
Alejandra and Gere first met when she was a child because Gere is a family friend.
They reconnected in 2014 at the Treville hotel in Positano, Italy, which Alejandra was managing.
Apparently, a friend reintroduced them, and they both felt a “very strong connection” right away.
She claimed that the actor “regularly writes her songs” and sent her flowers until she agreed to go on a date with him.
In 2018, the couple married in a private ceremony in New York.
The couple married at Gere’s ranch, according to Hello! magazine.
They transformed the property into an Indian-inspired fairytale, complete with Jaipur tents and Tibetan decorations.
