Aleeza Arshad, the daughter of deceased journalist Arshad Sharif, has begun a career as a reporter.
Aleeza decided to pursue the profession after being motivated by her father’s interest in investigative journalism.
Her decision to pursue journalism as a career has been lauded by lovers and colleagues of her late father, who was assassinated in Kenya by unknown gunmen in 2022.
Shehbaz Gill, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), reposted Aliza’s TV broadcast on Twitter and extended his best wishes for her future.
Social media users also congratulated Aliza on her entry into the world of journalism.
