According to reports, the four Americans taken hostage in Matamoros have been located. According to the Associated Press, two people are dead, one person is hurt, and the fourth person is unharmed.

After the Americans were revealed to be a group of friends who travelled to Mexico so that one of them could undergo a tummy tuck procedure, the tragic news was announced a few hours later.

Latavia “Tay” McGee, Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown, and Eric James Williams, who came from South Carolina, were identified by family members as being in the group.

When the four entered Mexico on Friday, they were riding in a white minivan with North Carolina licence plates.

They came under fire from a group of armed men shortly after arriving in Matamoros, a region controlled by the Gulf cartel, and were thrown into the back of a pickup truck.

The four friends appear to be being loaded during their kidnapping into a pickup truck in a video making the rounds on social media, with many of them being dragged limply into the vehicle.

For information that would result in their return and the capture of those responsible, the FBI offered a $50,000 reward.

There are still few details regarding the rescue of the four American hostages.

Américo Villarreal, the governor of Tamaulipas, first informed the Associated Press that two of the Americans had been discovered dead and two others had been discovered alive.

One of the survivors, according to Mr. Villarreal, was hurt, but the other wasn’t.

He omitted any personal information.

Kidnapped American Latavia ‘Tay’ McGee travelled to Mexico for cosmetic surgery

It has now been determined that the four Americans who were abducted in Mexico on Friday are Latavia “Tay” McGee, Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown, and Eric James Williams, who came from South Carolina.

According to Ms. McGee’s mother, who is shown in the photo below, she came to the nation for cosmetic surgery.

It feels like a “bad dream,” according to the family of one of the kidnapped US citizens, who has spoken out publicly.

According to Zalandria Brown, one of the four victims who have gone missing since being kidnapped by armed men in Matamoros on Friday is her younger brother Zindell Brown.

“This is like a bad dream you wish you could wake up from,” she told the Associated Press.

“To see a member of your family thrown in the back of a truck and dragged, it is just unbelievable.”

Ms Brown said her brother, who lives in Myrtle Beach, had gone on the trip with his three friends because one of the women – Latavia “Tay” McGee – had booked to get a tummy tuck at a clinic in Mexico.

She said that her brother had spoken about his concerns of going to such a dangerous place but the four had all gone to help share driving duties on the trip.

“Zindell kept saying, ‘We shouldn’t go down,’” she said.

One of the four Americans who were abducted in Mexico has a mother who has admitted that she begged her daughter not to go.

Barbara Burgess, the mother of Latavia “Tay” McGee, revealed to ABC News that her daughter had left Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her three friends to travel to Mexico for a tummy tuck procedure.

Ms. Burgess expressed concern for her daughter’s trip and forewarned her that it might not be secure.

Ma, I’ll be okay, her daughter assured her, dismissing her worries.

When Ms McGee called to let them know they were only 15 minutes away from the cosmetic surgeon’s office where she was scheduled to have the procedure that day, Ms Burgess claimed she last spoke with Ms McGee on Friday. She never heard from her again.

Later that day, Ms. Burgess claimed she attempted to call her daughter, but her phone went straight to voicemail.

She claimed that shortly after, an FBI agent visited her and explained what had occurred.

The group of friends who travelled to Mexico so that one of them could undergo a tummy tuck procedure have been identified as the four Americans who were abducted in Matamoros at gunpoint.

On Monday, Latavia “Tay” McGee, Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown, and Eric James Williams were identified by family members as the group.

When the four entered Mexico on Friday, they were riding in a white minivan with North Carolina licence plates.

They came under fire from a group of armed men shortly after arriving in Matamoros, a region controlled by the Gulf cartel, and were thrown into the back of a pickup truck. Since then, they have not been seen.

After it was revealed that four American tourists were abducted while in Mexico, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene urged the US military to “take out” the Mexican cartels.

It has now been determined that the four Americans who were abducted in Mexico on Friday are Latavia “Tay” McGee, Shaeed Woodard, Zindell Brown, and Eric James Williams, who came from South Carolina.
