Harrison Bader has played center field for the New York Yankees since 2022 in baseball.
The 29-year-old MLB player can frequently be seen spending time with his parents and younger sister when he is not on the field.
Who are the parents of Harrison Bader?
On June 3, 1994, Harrison Bader was born in Bronxville, New York. He is the only son and the oldest child of Verizon attorney Louis and Janice Bader. Sasha, Bader’s younger sister, is also a sister.
He learned to love baseball from his father, a lifelong Yankees supporter, who frequently practiced with him when he was younger.
“When Harrison was a boy, his father would come home from work at Verizon in the evenings, grab a bucket of 30 baseballs, and drive around looking for an open field in Eastchester, Yonkers, or The Bronx,” according to the report.
“Harrison was wearing a helmet, and his old man was 35 feet away, throwing to him as he avoided the deadly liners that were coming back at him. Louis will occasionally purposely strike his son with pitches (below the shoulders, of course) to get him ready for faster impacts during competition.
Bader played baseball for the Eastchester Little League before enrolling at Horace Mann School in the Bronx and later playing for the University of Florida Gators.

According to the report, on August 29, 2023, the Yankees placed Bader on an irrevocable waiver, giving the team a chance to claim him and have him on their roster by Friday.
Bader would be qualified for the Yankees’ postseason roster if claimed within the 48-hour waiver window.
Immediately following the Yankees’ 4-2 victory over the Tigers at Comerica Park on Tuesday, Bader told the YES Network, “I’ll just be by my phone.”
“But heed my warning—it is what it is. You never take for granted the opportunity to play baseball, especially in the major leagues, regardless of the circumstances.”
