As the nation works to recover from the harm caused by the floods, the Medical and Dental Colleges Admissions Test (MDCAT) is anticipated to be administered in November 2022.
In a recent meeting, Dr. Noushad A. Shaikh, president of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), and Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, minister of health for Sindh, spoke about the issue.
Minister Pechuho applauded the PMC’s performance and suggested holding the MDCAT on one day across the province, according to PMC’s tweets following the meeting.
Moreover, it was proposed during the meeting that the test be held in mid-November.

The PMC had previously announced that the MDCAT for MBBS and BDS admissions would be held from September 7 to 30 across Pakistan. However, the country was devastated by the record-breaking monsoons, forcing the PMC to reschedule the event.
The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination (NHSRC), on the other hand, had also urged PMC to postpone the test because of the flooding.
The PMC then thought about holding the MDCAT on the same day throughout Pakistan.
The revised date will reportedly be formally announced shortly after it has been discussed with all public and private medical and dental colleges.
