Two new updates have been announced for WhatsApp’s Android version, which is owned by Meta. The version 2.23.12.13 update is being released gradually and was submitted through the Google Play Beta Program.
A new keyboard has been designed in order to enhance user experience. The keyboard interface has undergone a number of design and positioning changes. Users can now view the emoji list in full-screen mode by moving the keyboard up.
The addition of “community settings” to the app is the second modification. Community administrators can regulate who can create new groups for the community using this feature. Only admins can access this feature at first, but it can be changed to suit their preferences.
Some beta testers already have access to these updates, and more users will get them in the upcoming weeks. Users can open it to see if they have the new keyboard. The media sharing and emoji keyboard buttons have also been rearranged, though not all users have yet received this update.
