What’s Love Got to Do With It, the most cherished British-Pakistani film starring Jemima Khan, has achieved great success internationally. Four prestigious awards were given to romantic comedy at the UK’s National Film Awards ceremony.
The film, which was directed by the eminent Shekhar Kapur, received nominations in nine categories, and it took home awards in four of them, including Best British Film, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor.
Jemima Khan, a writer and producer, announced the news on Twitter. She penned, “No one likes a show-off. But…we won four awards for our film last night and I felt so grateful and happy.”
