With temperatures today approaching 50 degrees Celsius, Islamabad, which is encircled by the magnificent Margalla hills, has surpassed Dubai in terms of sweltering heat.
The temperature in the nation’s capital has risen to 39°C, with a “feels like” temperature of 49°C. For a city like Islamabad, this is very concerning.
Dubai, which is two degrees warmer than Islamabad, has a mercury scale reading of 37°C and a “feels like” temperature of 47°C.
In addition to the sweltering heat wave, Islamabad has a humidity level of 44%, compared to a slightly higher 51% in Dubai.
Islamabad and Dubai are expected to have today’s lowest highs of 30°C and 31°C, respectively.
