According to the site, he also suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
This is the second time in less than a week that 6ix9ine has made headlines.
According to PageSix, he was thrown out of a Miami baseball stadium on Friday after causing a drunken commotion and disturbing other fans.
The rapper has a checkered past.
In 2019, he was sentenced to two years in prison for his involvement in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
He faced decades in prison on racketeering and other charges, but accepted a plea deal that reduced his sentence in exchange for assisting the feds in bringing down his former Bloods associates.
At the time, the assistant US attorney stated that 6ix9ine “will forever have to look over his shoulder.”
It’s unclear whether Tuesday’s attack was related to the rapper’s cooperation with the feds, but his lawyer told TMZ that he plans to contact the feds to ensure he receives adequate protection.
