A Ukrainian refugee who had been abandoned by her British lover was detained at this same moment after allegedly attempting to smash down his front door while yelling, “I love you, Tony!”
Sofiia Karkadym, 22, was located in the bushes by police after being found there in a desperate bid to win back security guard Tony Garnett, 30.
But Tony wouldn’t open the door. Tony gained notoriety after he abandoned his partner and kids for IT manager Sofiia after they had welcomed her into their home when the war in Ukraine broke out.

After Tony called police to a previous altercation on Saturday night when he told her their four-month romance was finished, Sofiia allegedly received a warning from the police to keep away.
She moved out of the house they previously shared, but she came back last night after neighbors overheard her ranting at Tony outside and dialing 999 when she pounded on the door.
She scaled a garden wall and vanished into the darkness as police came in two vehicles with flashing blue lights.
Before locating her in the surrounding bushes in Bradford, West Yorkshire, police reportedly scoured yards and neighborhood streets with torches.
Exclusive video captures her being led away by two policemen while yelling, “Tony, I love you.” Please accompany me.
Sofiia was brought away for interrogation and then released without being charged.
