A gunman was seen in the Bronx of New York shooting at a group of people On Friday, September 9, 2022, hurting four of them.
Locals commented on the incident’s brazenness because shootings in broad daylight are uncommon in the neighbourhood, according to News12, which said it happened at 4.40 pm at the Pelham Parkway NYCHA development.
The footage shows a man approaching four men sitting on a park bench while wearing a surgical mask and a hooded sweatshirt before pulling a gun and shooting them. He allegedly ran away from the scene down Wallace Street and onto Matthew Avenue.
Authorities in New York have asked residents to come forward if they have any information about the shooting. The suspect has not yet been named as of yet.
The four shooting victims were all transported to a hospital in stable condition, according to CBS.
This is a civilized society and guns have no part in it, if guns have no sports value, all should be banned, that's enough killing, parents and mothers are tired of losing their children or loved ones pic.twitter.com/5OXnyG9Uw4

The third victim, also 29 years old, was struck in the buttocks, and the final victim, also 29, was struck in the foot. The wounds, though, are not thought to be life-threatening.
Authorities in New York have not yet established what might have sparked the shooting. Anthony Fuentes, a local, claimed that the occurrence has stunned the people who had previously thought the region to be pretty safe.
Adding to this, Fuentes further said:
“Pelham projects are very good projects. I’m surprised for something like this to happen.”
Get the people holding the guns off the street. Stop letting them go back into society.
