A video of PPP MNA Munawar Talpur, Faryal Talpur’s husband distributing cash among flood victims has sparked outrage.
In the video, Faryal Talpur’s husband can be seen giving Rs50 (0.23 USD) to those who were harmed by the disastrous floods in Sindh.
Opponents of the PPP, who have dominated Sindh for more than ten years, had a field day mocking the party both in Sindh and internationally.
Fifty rupees compensate those who lost their homes and livestock in the floods.

Multiple people on Twitter criticised the MNA for not truly aiding the victims and for having the audacity to have his act of “generosity” captured on camera.
Later, the MNA appeared in front of the media and acknowledged dispersing the money.
