TRUCKEE, CALIFORNIA: A video captured the moment an SUV was purportedly recovered from Prosser Lake, along with a body. A search and recovery dive team located the 2013 silver Honda CRV that Kiely Rodni was last seen driving around the Prosser Family Campground party on August 6 at around 2:30 in the morning. The video showed a group of individuals attempting to remove the vehicle as tarps were present to cover it.
We Just Found Kiely Rodni, Adventures With Purpose said on its Facebook page on Sunday, August 21. Only 14′ of water surrounds the upside-down car. Kiely is inside, we can CERTIFY that. Law Enforcement was alerted by the family and was on its way. The remainder of the day will be spent on the scene, and tomorrow we’ll stream live; we’ll reveal the time later this afternoon. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in getting us to Kiely and her family by way of your donations and support.

The bodies discovered inside the car have not yet been positively identified by law police, though. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office tweeted the following on social media: “This afternoon, we were informed by volunteer search group Adventures with Purpose that they have recovered an automobile and a corpse in the Prosser Reservoir. To look into the results, the FBI, the sheriffs’ offices from Nevada and Placer counties, as well as other organisations, are on the site.
It added, “The identity of the decedent has not been confirmed. This is a developing situation, and we will provide updates when we can. There will be a press conference tomorrow at 11 am. at the Truckee-Donner Recreation & Park District at 10981 Truckee Way, in Truckee.”
Sami Smith, a friend of the 16-year-old who attended the same party on August 5, remarked that “it has not been proven [whether] or not this information is real. This message was published before any members of the family or law enforcement were made aware of it. To verify the information, law enforcement is currently on the scene. Please be patient as we research this more to see whether or not it is real.
According to The Sun, Adventures With Purpose claimed to have alerted Kiely’s family about the search effort at the lake where her last whereabouts was indicated. However, private eye Steve tweeted that Kiely’s father and grandfather were also present at the scene. He posted on Twitter that he spent “1/3 today at Prosser with the father and grandfather of #kielyrondi.” As we talked about her disappearance, #adventureswithpurpose could be seen nearby. At 2:48 PM, @DxTheMystery called to let me know that Kiely had been located. I later told her father.

He went on to say, “And grandfather that Kiely had been found. We rushed to the site and the incredible team at #adventureswithpurpose showed me proof she had been located with her vehicle. I know there will be so many questions but right now I can not say much,” before adding, “3/3 please keep #kielyrondi, her family and her friends in your thoughts.
