Since KSI and Logan Paul first shook hands in 2018, influencer boxing has grown into something we could never have predicted.
While KSI vs. Jake Paul is undoubtedly the most anticipated fight, YouTubers, TikTokers, musicians, and even professional athletes continue to walk into the ring to put on a show, and an entertaining one at that.
Kingpyn Boxing launched ‘High Stakes,’ the first YouTube Boxing Tournament, earlier this year, with eight male and eight female boxers competing over three bouts.
The semi-final, the second of the three events, is due to begin on July 15 at the 3Arena in Dublin. However, as the fighters gathered before the bout to square up, things took an unusual turn.
Amber O’Donnell goes viral after kissing her opponent in faceoff
Female combatants Amber O’Donnell and Whitney Johns stunned the audience when they took the stage for their July 14 fight.
Whitney tried to antagonize O’Donnell by kissing her on the lips as they stared down at one other. The reply, however, was utterly unexpected.
“If you’re gonna do it, do it properly,” Amber said in response, before grabbing her opponent’s face and going in for a full-on kiss.

While the two burst out laughing, the unexpected scene went viral on the internet, with many people startled by the bawdy incident.
It’s safe to say that the influencer boxing scene is rapidly expanding, with events featuring some of the internet’s biggest stars becoming increasingly common.
With KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion securing a five-year deal with DAZN earlier this year, and Kingpyn being salvaged by DAZN after declaring bankruptcy, it’s unclear where influencer boxing will go next.
