Another new smartphone that is creating a lot of talk in the tech community is the Vivo Y56. Although there aren’t many company-shared facts about the device yet, a number of rumours and leaks have given us an idea of what to anticipate from it.
The specifications and an official-looking graphic showcasing the Vivo Y56 5G’s design were leaked by Paras Guglani, a reliable source for many other leaks as well. The leak was quickly stopped, however it is still present on several tech channels.
Guglani’s Twitter account was the source of the initial leak, which claimed that the Vivo Y56 was a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution handset with a 60Hz refresh rate and Vivo’s customary water-drop notch. The phone is just a little bit above the entry-level market due to the screen size and resolution.
The tipster claims it has a dual back camera system with a 13MP primary and 2MP auxiliary sensor, among other specifications. It will only have a single 5MP camera in the notch, making it slightly less than perfect for selfies and video calls. The new model will be an entirely new entry on the Vivo price list.
At its core, Y56 anticipates a Dimensity 700 engine that is 5G-ready and is fueled by a 5000 mAh battery pack. It will come pre-installed with an antiquated Funtouch OS 12 x Android 12 UI and a remarkable 8GB +128GB RAM capacity. Although the phone has an odd assortment of features inside, its exterior design will command attention.
The tipster also posted a leaked Y56 marketing poster in another tweet. The phone has a flat, slab-like design and comes in two colour options: Gold and Black. The camera lenses stick out from a shiny accent with aluminium rings. It has a volume rocker on the flat rails all around the body that is just barely perceptible.
