On Thursday, the Vivo Y36 was introduced in Indonesia. It was made available as a replacement for the August 2022-debuted Vivo Y35 model. The Y36 lineup from Vivo includes both 5G and 4G models. The 4G version has a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC as its power source. The only RAM and storage combination available for this model is 8GB + 256GB. The company hasn’t yet released the 5G variant’s specs or any other information.
Price and Availability:
The Vivo Y36 4G costs IDR 3,399,000 in Indonesia and is only offered in one 8GB + 256GB variant. It is available in the colors Aqua Glitter and Meteor Black. On the Vivo Indonesia online store, the phone is up for pre-order.
The website lists the Crystal Green and Mystic Black color options for the Vivo Y36 5G version, but no additional information has been made public as of yet.

The Vivo Y36 4G model has a 6.64-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a maximum brightness of 650 nits, and capacitive multitouch functionality. FunTouch OS, which is based on Android 13, is preinstalled on the phone.
Storage:
The 4G model has an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and up to 8GB of support for virtual RAM. In addition to the dual nano SIM card slots, the phone has a dedicated slot for an external SD card that can increase storage capacity by up to 1TB.
Cameras:
The Vivo Y36 4G smartphone has two rear cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and the other with a 2-megapixel sensor. These cameras are arranged vertically on a square camera module in the top left corner of the back panel. Right next to the camera units is the rear LED flash unit. At the top of the display, there is a hole-punch slot that is center-aligned and contains the 16-megapixel front camera sensor.
Battery and Charging:
The 5,000mAh battery in the Vivo Y36 4G model supports 44W wired fast charging and is capable of charging the phone from zero to thirty percent in fifteen minutes.
Dimensions and Weight:
Its dimensions are 164.06mm x 76.17mm x 8.07mm, and its weight is 202 grams.
Features:
The phone comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Among other things, it supports GPS, Bluetooth v5.1, and NFC connectivity. Additionally, it has a USB Type-C charging port.
