The newest smartphone in the Chinese company’s V-series, the Vivo Y27 5G, has been formally listed online. According to a listing on Vivo’s international website, the phone has up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 chipset. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging out of the box. It runs Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera in addition to a 50-megapixel main camera.
The new Vivo Y27 5G’s price has not yet been disclosed by the company, and its global website listing does not yet provide information on when it will be available. According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Vivo Y27 5G is available in 64GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations. It also comes in Mystic Black and Satin Purple color options.
The FuntouchOS 13 skin created by the company runs on top of Android 13 in the dual-SIM (Nano, hybrid) Vivo Y27 5G. The device has a 6.64-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,388) LCD screen. It is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC and can support up to 6GB of RAM.
A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture are included in the new Y-series smartphone from Vivo. The Vivo Y27 5G has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats, hidden inside a waterdrop-shaped display notch.
The 128GB of built-in storage on the Vivo Y27 5G can be increased using a hybrid MicroSD card slot. 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC (region-dependent), GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, and a USB Type-C port with USB on-the-go (OTG) support are among the connectivity options.
The Vivo Y27 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication in addition to an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and e-compass. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 15W. It is 190g in weight and 164.06×76.17×8.07mm in size.
