India’s release of the Vivo Y27 4G is anticipated soon. Vivo is reportedly also launching the 5G version of the phone. While there is no information about the Vivo Y27 5G’s launch in India, it is expected to happen this month in other markets. The design rendering, color options, and some of the most important details of the upcoming smartphone have recently leaked. The Vivo Y27’s 4G and 5G versions have recently been spotted on several certification sites, indicating that they will soon go on sale.
The rumored Vivo Y27 5G smartphone may launch in black or purple, with the marketing names Obsidian black and Star purple, respectively, according to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz). In the leaked pictures, the rear panel has a Vivo logo at the bottom left, and the top-left corner has a dual camera unit with an LED flash next to it. On the front of the phone, the top-center of the display has a water-drop notch.
The tipster has revealed some of the key details of the Vivo Y27 5G, including the possibility of a 6.64-inch IPS LCD full-HD+ display with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The device reportedly has a MediaTek 6020 5G SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and support for 6GB of expandable RAM.
Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 is anticipated to run on the Vivo Y27 5G. According to reports, the camera module has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone might have an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
The smartphone’s dimensions and weight are additional tipped specifications. According to reports, the Vivo Y27 measures 164×76.2x8mm and weighs 190 grams. Along with support for 44W fast charging, it is anticipated to receive an IP54 rating.
The Vivo Y27 4G with model number V2249 and the Vivo Y27 5G with model number V2302 were reportedly discovered on the NBTC certification website, hinting at their impending release, according to a different report from GSMArena that was cited on a Thai website. Vivo hasn’t yet provided any information about the upcoming smartphone, though.
