As the follow-up to the Vivo X90 Pro+, which was released earlier this year alongside the other two models in the lineup, the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is anticipated to go on sale. MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoCs with an octa-core architecture power the X90 and X90 Pro. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset powers the X90 Pro+. The X100 Pro+’s camera information and other specifications have been previously reported. The alleged handset’s design renderings are depicted in a recent leak.
On a post, a tipster posted what appears to be a Vivo X100 Pro+ design render. The phone is shown in a black color variation in the image. The top of the curved display has a hole-punch cutout that is centered. On the right edge of the phone are the volume rockers and the power button.
The camera module is located in the top left corner of the phone’s rear panel. On a raised square island, there is a circular module that is slightly to the left of the center. The circular module contains the quad rear camera unit. The square island also sports Zeiss branding in the bottom left corner and an LED flash unit in the top right.
Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9, which had a variable aperture feature that allowed users to change the aperture between f/1.5 and f/2, the primary rear camera of the rumored X100 Pro+ is probably going to have such a feature as well.
The Vivo X100 Pro+ is rumored to have three cameras: a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor with a telephoto lens, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a Sony IMX9-series 1/14x-inch primary camera sensor.
The tipster previously stated that the yet-to-be-released octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoCs are most likely to power the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is rumored to have an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
