With the upcoming Vivo T2 5G series, Vivo is reportedly planning to increase the number of smartphones in its T series. The Chinese manufacturer of smartphones may soon introduce the phones in India. According to rumors, the upcoming phone will include a number of improvements over its predecessor, the Vivo T1 5G, which was released in 2022. Online leaks have revealed the handset’s specifications and ostensible launch date. The Vivo T2 5G will reportedly use a Snapdragon SoC. Additionally, it is anticipated to run Android 13 and have a full-HD+ display.
According to a report, the Vivo T2 series will probably launch in India around the middle of April. Two models—the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G—are reportedly part of the alleged Vivo T2 series. The upcoming Vivo T2 series phones, according to the report, are expected to use both MediaTek Dimensity and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. According to the report, the phones could be purchased for less than $244, with one being the cheapest Vivo 5G phone available in the nation.
Both phones were reportedly found on the Google Play Console database, which provides some of their essential information. According to reports, the Vivo T2 5G will have the model number Vivo V2222, a waterdrop notch display with a full-HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, among other specifications. The rumor claims that Android 13 will power the device.
On the other hand, the Vivo T2x 5G is allegedly listed on the Google Play Console with the model number V2225. Additionally, a waterdrop notch display with a full-HD+ resolution is visible on it. The report also claims that the device will run Android 13 and have a Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB of RAM.
In February of last year, Vivo T1 5G was released in India. The Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, powers this 5G smartphone. The 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD screen on the Vivo T1 5G has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz. It has three rear cameras, the primary one of which is a 50-megapixel sensor.
