On May 31, the Vivo S17 series is reportedly going on sale in China. The base Vivo S17 and the Vivo S17 Pro were previously anticipated to be part of the lineup. According to a recent report, the Vivo S17t model may also go on sale at the same time. The report included a rendering of the Vivo S17 Pro’s design. Notably, the business just released the Vivo S17e model, which is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and a 4,600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
The three alleged smartphones were discovered through a source. The 6.78-inch 1.5K (1260 x 2800 pixels) AMOLED screens on the Vivo S17, Vivo S17t, and Vivo S17 Pro models are anticipated to have refresh rates of 120Hz. The phones should have internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB along with RAM variations of 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB.
The upcoming Vivo S17 models are anticipated to run OriginOS 3.1, which is based on Android 13, and to each be powered by a 4,505mAh battery. The phones are anticipated to include in-display fingerprint sensors for security. The inclusion of IR blasters and NFC connectivity are also anticipated.
According to the report, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC is expected to power the Vivo S17 Pro. It is probably compatible with 80W fast charging. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with a telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor with an ultra-wide lens are anticipated to make up the phone’s triple rear camera unit.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 782G SoC is anticipated to power the Vivo S17. On the other hand, the Vivo S17t’s processor specifications are still unknown. However, it is anticipated that both phones will support 66W or 80W wired fast charging options.
The 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766V sensor, which supports OIS, and the 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor, which has an ultra-wide lens, are most likely to be found in the dual rear camera units of the Vivo S17 and Vivo S17t.
On Vivo’s Chinese online store, reservations are currently being accepted for all three phones. Black, Mountain Sea Green and Sea of Flowers are the available color options for the phones.
