There are reportedly plans for the Vivo S17 series. Three smartphone models — the Vivo S17e, Vivo S17, and Vivo S17 Pro — may be part of the lineup, which could launch as the Vivo V29 series in international markets. Now, the upcoming Vivo S17 Pro’s camera specifications have been revealed by a Chinese tipster. According to the leak, the device will have three rear cameras, the most important of which is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor. Either a Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 782G SoC from Qualcomm could power the standard Vivo S17. According to reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC ships with the Vivo S17 Pro.
The alleged camera specifications for the Vivo S17 Pro have been posted on Weibo by Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, the upcoming Vivo phone will have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait camera with center focus, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS).
According to rumors, the Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 782G SoC will power the Vivo S17. A MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC is rumored to be included with the Vivo S17 Pro. They may also support 80W charging, according to rumors.
It is anticipated that the Vivo S17 series will succeed the Vivo S16 lineup, which became official in December of last year. The starting price for the Vivo S16 Pro is CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 39,000), while the base model of the Vivo S16 costs CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 30,000). The starting price for the Vivo S16e is CNY 2,099, or roughly Rs. 25,000.
The 4,600mAh batteries power the Vivo S16 Pro, Vivo S16, and Vivo S16e, which run on Android 13 and have AMOLED displays with up to 120Hz refresh rates. They also support 66W fast charging. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the Vivo S16 Pro, whereas the Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the Vivo S16. An Exynos 1080 SoC powers the Vivo S16e.
