WhatsApp, a messaging service that is incredibly popular, is growing quickly this year. Without a doubt, 2023 will bring new WhatsApp updates and features. We have been receiving information about new WhatsApp features on a regular basis. It is obvious that the messaging platform is making serious efforts to enhance user experience. We recently learned that WhatsApp will soon introduce video messages. Users will be able to send video messages in real-time thanks to a new feature that the company is developing.
Let’s examine this new feature in more detail. When this feature is released, users will be able to quickly press the camera button to record and send brief videos to their contacts. Additionally, it is claimed that the video messages will be encrypted from beginning to end. It isn’t visible to anyone besides the recipients, not even WhatsApp.
All WhatsApp users will be able to record video messages for up to 60 seconds, which is an important point to make. They won’t be able to save and forward video messages, though, as I’ll let you know. The catch is that even though the video is not sent when using the view once mode, it can still be recorded using screen recording software.
A video message will be recorded and sent in real-time, which is a key distinction between a video and a video message. A video, on the other hand, is already recorded and saved before being shared. Let’s therefore wait and see when all users get access to this new feature. Please let us know what you think about this upcoming feature in the comments section.
