At the University of Balochistan, academic activities have been suspended due to a conflict between two student organizations. In response to the clash between the opposing groups on Monday that left seven students injured and transported to the nearby Civil Hospital for treatment, the university administration took this action.
Classes had to be postponed due to the altercation until it was deemed safe for learning. Notably, male students who reside in university dorms have been told to leave the area right away.
The administration made the decision to halt academic activities out of concern for the safety of the university community and to avoid another brawl.
The university is attempting to restore a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety of its students and staff as both student organizations are locked in a tense standoff.
