United Auto Industries (Pvt.) Limited has issued a circular informing of a massive increase in United Motorcycle Prices in Pakistan beginning March 7, 2023, the first increase this month. United Motorcycles has raised the prices of several models, including the US-70 CC, US-100 CC, and US-125 CC, according to details.
It is worth noting that motorbike manufacturers have a history of raising prices, but this time around, the automotive industry is not to blame due to the country’s economic situation and rising production costs.
The current increase in United Motorcycle Prices follows the recent depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD) on March 2, 2023, when the local currency fell by Rs. 18.98 against the US currency.
United Auto Industries has increased the price of United Motorcycles by up to Rs. 11,000, depending on the model, according to the notification above.
The notification says:
- Price of United UC-70 CC (All Models) has been increased by Rs. 6,000.
- Price of United UC-100 CC (All Models) has been raised by Rs. 6,000.
- Price of United UC-100CC (Front Portion) has been increased by Rs. 6,000.
- Price of United UC-125 CC has been hiked by Rs. 9,000.
- Price of United UC-100 CC scooters have been hiked by Rs. 15,000.
