Following delays brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the UAE’s first floating hotel is scheduled to debut in early 2025. There will be 200 guestrooms and suites at the Kempinski Floating Palace Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, as well as 48 villas that can sail the UAE coast.
The project, which will likely cost AED 1.2 billion ($326 million), is a reflection of the UAE’s ongoing real estate boom. 804 new hotels were built in Dubai alone in 2022, an increase of 6.5% from the year before.
By early 2025, according to the hotel’s developers, The Floating Venice LLC, it will be open for business. In Ras Al Khaimah’s Island Port, work is currently in progress with 50% of the project already finished. The villas can be purchased, offering a profitable investment opportunity.
Travelers’ attention is anticipated to be captured by the floating hotel’s innovative concept and stunning design. Because it provides a unique experience in the heart of the UAE.
