When VANESSA Feltz read the Queen’s death announcement live on TalkTV, she broke down in tears.
On September 8, the beloved monarch passed suddenly, leaving the country in shock and anguish.
Her Majesty, who ruled for 70 years, has received tributes from foreign leaders.
Even though worries about her health had been increasing all day, the news nonetheless surprised many people.
When she had to make the announcement, Feltz was presenting her brand-new Talk TV drivetime show, which made its debut this week.
The former BBC radio personality returned from a break where it was visible that she was holding a piece of paper.
As she tries to keep her voice steady, she says: “It is 6.32. The day is the 8th of September 2022.”
Feltz has to fight back tears as she says: “And I’m extremely sorry to have to bring you the exceptionally sad news that Her Majesty the Queen has died.
“The news has been confirmed by Buckingham Palace. Her Majesty was 96 years old and had reigned for 70 years.
“News of her passing is reaching the rest of the world and she was monarch of more than 100 million people.”
Millions of Britons were deeply affected by the news as the country mourned its loss, including Feltz.
Piers Morgan also praised the Queen’s magnificent reign on TalkTV after her show had ended.
As mourning spread throughout the UK and the rest of the world, thousands gathered outside Buckingham Palace and remained there far into the night.
