Robyn-Eve Maines who died after falling from her hotel balcony at a resort in Ibiza has received tributes.
When Robyn-Eve Maines, 24, fell from the second-floor flat at the Rosamar Hotel on the party island in Spain, she was on vacation with her boyfriend.
Following her shocking death on Sunday morning, the trainee lawyer from Wallasey in Merseyside has been remembered by her grieving family.
Cam, the younger brother of Robyn-Eve, said: “She will always be cherished and honored for the wonderful person that she is. Our hearts are broken over the loss of such a special person. I shall always love you, big sister.”
Robyn-Eve was a “firecracker, beautiful inside and out, and so much pleasure to be around,” according to Victoria Carr, who knew her.
Her aunt Diane Morrisey has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to assist send Robyn-body Eve’s back to the UK.
Diane described her niece as “a beautiful person inside and out with everything to live for”.
She said she had flown out to Ibiza with her partner and friends on September 22, and three days later her mother had received the “devastating phone call from the British consulate”.
The family currently only knows that Robyn-Eve fell 30 feet from her balcony, and authorities are still doing their investigations, Diane continued.
She fell from the balcony of the four-star hotel for adults only near the tourist town of San Antonio just before 9 a.m. on Sunday and was pronounced dead at the spot.
It is believed that her boyfriend was with her at the time and informed hotel personnel, who called emergency services.
Although they raced to the hotel, the paramedics were unable to save her life.
Police are currently looking into the matter.
It follows the death of a British woman, 35, who fell to her death from the sixth floor of the Hotel Hellber in Palma, the capital of Majorca, earlier this month.
On the Balearic island of Formentera earlier in September, a 55-year-old British tourist died after slipping and falling approximately 400 feet.
