Ailish Walsh, 28, was discovered unresponsive at her home in Stoke Newington, North London, on Thursday.
Sadly, she was unable to be saved, and after receiving numerous stab wounds, she was pronounced dead at the site.
Alisha was just informed that she was going to have a girl, and it has now been made public that she was pregnant.
Yesterday, Liam Taylor, 37, was charged with her murder and appeared in Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
Friends who lost Ailish have now started a GoFundMe campaign to pay to fly her body back to her native Ireland.
“[She] was a beautiful amazing young woman of 28 with 4 small children and a little girl on the way,” the event’s organiser Teresa Cannon wrote.
“I would like to try and raise as much money as we can to help the family with the funeral costs and getting Ailish back home to Ireland to put her at rest and be back with her family.
“I know times are hard at the moment, but you cannot imagine how hard this is for her family and children so please, please, no matter how much or how little, every penny will help.”
Following the trauma on Monday night, police opened a murder investigation.
Specialist Crime Command officers from the Met are looking into it.
The investigation’s principal detective, Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, stated: “This is a really sad occurrence, and my sympathies are with the victim’s family and friends at this terribly trying time.
“I want to reassure them and the community’s people who would be horrified by what transpired there that we are making every effort to figure out what took place.
“Contact the police as quickly as you can if you saw anything unusual or have any information regarding this occurrence.
