After a teenager was fatally stabbed, his grieving family and friends paid tribute to their “beautiful angel.”
The weekend saw the murder of Owen Dunn, 18, in Swindon, Wilts, and police are questioning a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of the crime.
“Another day waking up to this nightmare, how are we meant to live with this constant pain, the crying the feeling your heart has been cut out,” he said.
A friend of Owen described him as the “most beautiful and genuine angel”.
“Such a beautiful soul. I will cherish every single memory together especially that laugh of yours – you will always be in my heart.
“So many people loved you Owen.”
Many others have expressed their condolences, including his aunt, who said on Facebook that the family was in “continuous pain” and concluded by saying, “I love you so much, my lovely nephew.”
The student who was detained on Sunday on suspicion of killing Owen was still being kept in jail.
He was held for longer so that police could question him.
Following the murder that occurred in Haydon End’s Mazurek Way in Wiltshire, members of Owen’s family expressed their gratitude to the community for its support.
In a brief tribute they said: “We are grateful for all the support, kind words and donations we have received.”
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Detectives are continuing to question a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of Owen’s murder.
“Members of the public will continue to see an increased police presence across the whole of Swindon in response to this incident.
“We are continuing to appeal for information that will help with our inquiries.”
