Tom Sizemore died at the age of 61, his manager confirmed in a statement.
The Hollywood actor had been in a coma since collapsing at his Los Angeles home on February 18.
Doctors confirmed he had suffered a brain aneurysm caused by a stroke and had been in intensive care since then.
Confirming the news of his passing, his manager, Charles Lago, said: “It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore … passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank. His Brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger (17) were at his side.”
Tom’s manager Charles added: “The Sizemore family has been comforted by the hundreds of messages of support and love shown to their son, brother and father.
“They are asking for privacy during this difficult time and I am asking for those wishes to please be respected.”
Tom’s brother Paul also released a statement, it reads: “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my big brother Tom. He was larger than life.”
