An influential TikTok user from Canada who unfortunately passed away last week in a bizarre skydiving accident is being mourned on social media.
Tanya Pardazi, 21, had just finished her first solo course with Skydive Toronto in Innisfil, Ontario, when the tragedy happened, according to a report in Jam Press. According to the skydiving company, who mandates that students finish a day of ground training before trying a solo dive, this was allegedly her first time jumping alongside, according to Toronto Cbs Affiliate.
The student from Toronto University released the parachute too late during her descent, ruining the dive.
Pardazi “launched a quickly-rotating main parachute at a low height without the time or altitude required for the reserve parachute to expand,” according to a statement by Skydive Toronto.
The thrill seeker then hurried to the hospital after the incident, where she was discovered to be dead.
Pardazi was a staple on TikTok, where the philosophy student frequently shared videos with her almost 100,000 fans about everything from woolly mammoths to cosmetics advice. On August 22, Parzadi shared the last video she had before passing away, in which she discussed skydiving and Tetris.
The bombshell had previously competed in and advanced to the semifinals of the Miss Canada beauty competition.
